Who We Are

Ryan Robinson, IBP Managing Partner:

A graduate of Indiana University, after starting with the Indiana Chamber, Ryan began his career in insurance in 2002 as an Account Executive with SIHO. Through that experience Ryan focused in both the fully insured and self-funded health insurance sales, working with Brokers and Employer groups of all sizes throughout Indiana. In 2006, Ryan moved to the Advisor side of the business, serving as an Employee Benefits Consultant working directly primarily with larger employer groups in Indiana and Kentucky. After 7 years as a Broker, Ryan returned to SIHO, a fully insured carrier and Third-Party Administrator, and served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Development until 2019.

In 2019, Ryan united with Mike Ketron to start Integrated Benefit Partners with a focus on providing client centered approach. Having been exposed to both the good and bad in benefits advisor space, they set out with a mission to “break the mold” and provide innovative, creative solutions that always put the client first.

A native of Lebanon, Indiana, Ryan has resided in Bloomington since 1995 with his 2 children. After losing his lovely wife Amy of 18 years to cancer, Ryan stays busy coaching his son’s baseball team and following and supporting his daughter with her school and competitive cheerleading activities.

Mike Ketron, IBP Managing Partner:

Mike began his insurance career in 1986 as an independent agent specializing in the health insurance market. In 1992 he opened Benefits Plus Insurance Services and built it to a one of the larger benefits agencies in Southern Indiana. In 2002 SIHO purchased Benefits Plus to have Mike join them in an executive position overseeing the sales and marketing of their fully insured products. Over his career with SIHO, Mike transitioned to focus more on the self-funded accounts and continued that focus in 2014 when he joined MedBen.

Employers face ever-evolving needs for innovative solutions in this new Market. For 34 years Mike has helped to guide his clients to benefit solutions that worked best for them. Mike joined forces with Ryan Robinson to found Integrated Benefit Partners; an agency that is focused on simplifying the process and providing the service and expertise that clients need and deserve.

Mike and his wife Janet are the proud parents of 3 grown children and 5 amazing grandchildren. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing, spending family time at Patoka Lake and attending any and all activities that their grandkids are involved in. Mike is an active member of his church where he has served many terms as a Trustee and is currently on the Board of Elders.

Brandon Hillenburg, Vice President of Operations – Florida:

After graduating from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Brandon began his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen. As a consultant, he worked throughout the Midwest with clients including Cummins Inc., Ford Motor Company, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

With the vision of assisting patient/client lives, Brandon switched from consulting to pursue a career in healthcare. For the next 18 years, Brandon experienced both large pharma, AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly USA, and start up biopharmaceuticals, Santarus, Inc. and Surterra Wellness. During his tenure in leadership sales, he managed teams and personally collaborated and learned from hundreds of physicians including cardiologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, pain management specialists, and internal medicine physicians with efforts that span nationwide.

As the Integrated Benefit Partners Vice President of Operations in Florida, Brandon whole-heartedly believes in the IBP vision: Partnering with our clients to provide guidance in developing both short and long-term strategies that align with their overall business goals. Navigating the ever-evolving world of Employee Benefits requires new strategies, and Brandon brings a unique level of experience to the IBP team.

Brandon grew up on a 40-acre farm in Southern Indiana. He married his high school sweetheart, Crystal. He resides in Miramar Beach, Florida with Crystal and their two daughters, Addison and Alexis.


Integrated Benefit Partners was formed in November of 2019.  The establishment of this partnership brought together decades of experience within the staff that enables us to provide our clients with professional guidance within all facets of their employee benefit plans.  Our founding partners, Mike Ketron and Ryan Robinson both have extensive experience as Agents/Consultants working on behalf of employer groups of all sizes as well as Sr Leadership experience on the Carrier/TPA side of the business.  This combination of experiences puts Integrated Benefit Partners in a position to provide insightful innovative solutions to their clients, implement cost saving strategies and bring plan control back to the business owner. The true passion that drives us at Integrated Benefit Partners is to do what is right for our clients….and that will always be our promise!

Providing employee benefits is generally among the top 3 operating expenses for most businesses, and many in our industry complicate the process and leave their clients overwhelmed and confused without any real strategy to implement. At Integrated Benefit Partners, our role is to remove the confusion and replace it with peace of mind. Our clients will know they have hired a partner that understands the challenges of the health insurance industry, will take the time to listen and understand how that relates to their overall business strategy in attracting and retaining talent, and has the knowledge and experience to implement those strategies that are appropriate.


We believe serving as brokers and consultants to business community involves more than just providing an insurance policy. It involves bringing innovative solutions to match each client’s unique situation that will ultimately help them control their healthcare cost.
